This is a complete and utter disgrace
There are plenty of opportunities to develop housing within existing boundaries rather than paving the greenbelt, wetlands and flood plains. Doug Ford himself said in 2018 that he would not touch the greenbelt.
Modifications to existing zoning rules to encourage more density and removing parking minimums would be far more effective. Build housing where people want to live rather than encourage awful sprawl which is costly to maintain.
This again simply prioritizes property speculators and developers rather than the people of Ontario.
