Dear Doug Ford and confederates,

I think you need to stop with your proposal to eliminate wetland management. You cant take away the controls set in place to ensure the health of our watersheds, and expect everything to be fine. I know your bank accounts will prosper, and those of your cronies in construction, but nobody else will. Please stop this madness!

Do you believe these protections were put in place erroneously? If so, then an environmental study would need to be completed to back that up; you can’t just feel it and make it so. Whatever happened to the rule of law with your party? Safeguards were put in place after WW2 because actual leaders saw the damage that unmitigated flooding could cause. They designed these wetlands around naturally occurring features to maximize growth and also protect the environment. You’ve said you’re on the side of the environment (after cancelling a bunch of green energy projects that cost us more than finishing them would have), so prove yourself right.
