While we do have a housing shortage, it is not necessary to trample all over the rights of the people of Ontario to protest a development which will diminish their quality of life, nor to prevent our Conservation Authorities to protect the environment to achieve this goal.
These actions by the Ontario Government are not consistent with good government and I strongly recommend that these provisions be removed from this proposed legislation.
I live in a small town in Ontario and I find this cavalier attitude embodied in Bill 23 reflected in our own municipal government. This is destroying Ontario.
