My name is Randy Stewart I am a geologist, a prospector, and a claim holder. I disagree with capping the work allotment to $350 per day for claim holders performing their own work. I believe this is discriminatory. The prospector should receive the same pay allocation as a contractor. As contractors fees change year to year so should the claim holders fee allotments. By capping this you are saying the prospectors work is inferior to the contractors. This puts the small claim holder at a disadvantage to companies who can afford to pay the contractors. We should all be treated equal and it should be equal pay for equal work. The cap of $350 per day should be totally removed from the statement below. Thank you.
Re: “Where the claim holder’s own labour is claimed for assessment work credits, the claim holder’s labour costs must not exceed the costs they would have reasonably paid for a contractor to perform the same work to a maximum of $350 per day.”
