This is a terrible message…

This is a terrible message to send with climate change and about the government’s thoughts on the environment. The green belt is used by many for pleasure and already used by industry for agriculture.

In the wake of current high inflation this will limit agricultural production, causing job losses, increase costs, which will be passed onto consumers, and increase imports, which is worse for the environment.

This is a terrible reversal on a promise / decision and should be backtracked asap.
