We are a mobile HDV DCF in North Western Ontario
1. Is the testing on LDV diesel trucks under 4500 going to be exempt.
Service Ontario requires that they need a test when they increase their weight over 4500 kg.
2. We have seen some trucks and buses that are over 4500 GVWR that do not require an emission test.
We have found that it is because the registration shows a G [gas] instead of D [Diesel]
3. Is it allowed to use an extension on the OBD cable.
Being a mobile station and traveling to various shops in the winter it is not always easy to connect to the data link connector
