I do NOT support any changes…

I do NOT support any changes to the greenbelt esp. not ones that seem to be driven by developer needs and ownership more then actual environmental needs.

Greater sprawl is not the answer to housing and that is a known fact. I also worry about long term environmental factors to these changes when we know that climate change is here and our green spaces needs to be protected. This feels like we are cutting away at the Ontario equivalent of the Amazon.

This information and this proposed change lacks transparency, foresight and altogether- knowing the developers involved possibly suggests corruption. Please please reconsider thos not just for today but for our future. I do not want to be part of the generation that ruined our greenspace and our province for the next.

Also, please investigate why/how developers bought land in the last few months. Were they given the heads up about these proposed changes?
