This is ridiculous and something Ontarians do not believe in. Our green belt contains a variety of irreplaceable nature, animals, and other wildlife that would be all but wiped out with this plan. There is are so many buildings unused from the pandemic that can be repurposed from commercial to low-income housing with minimal rezoning. Opening protected lands that the Premier promised not to touch shouldn’t be an option to fix our housing crisis.
