I believe polluters should pay for the toll they put on the environment. They make Jobs in some communities, but those benefits are outweighed by any damages caused that can be felt by all. With payment collected by the government, on behalf of the citizens, programs can be made that decrease the collective carbon footprint of our province. I feel that's a no-brainer way of making a difference.
