This is completely unacceptable. The greenbelt is a beautiful and important part of this province. Instead of expanding into protected areas you should be building up.
Forest and green space areas contribute hugely to positive mental health, beauty, wildlife diversity, heritage plants and mother trees, public health, and tourism. Stop trying to fast track your buddies into whatever you feel like and think of the public for once.
Save the greenbelt.
