In 2022 have we not grasped that we need innovative housing developments and not the archaic format we keep falling back on? If we keep taking away green space, our cities will suffer from flash flood, our farmlands will dry up from drought, and so on and so on. I just spent the better part of a year touring poorly made, shoe box condos priced at almost $1M. Ikea would do a better job building condos and crating housing in Ontario than this government. The answer isn’t to develop green space to solve the housing crisis. COME ON! This is maddening. This is gross overreach by the Ford government to which I can only assume is to pay back some kind of under the table funding he accepted from a construction development company. Shame shame shame.
