The Greenbelt Act is about…

The Greenbelt Act is about the protection of ecosystems. It is wrong to remove and add pieces of land as you see fit. Think about future generations, where will they grow their food, and connect with nature? By all means make the Greenbelt larger, but don’t take land away from it. We don’t need to take up more land in order to build more housing, we already have enough urban space to house people, it’s just needs to be more efficiently used. The pre posed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan are shortsighted and will harm future generations.
