The Greenbelt within Ontario needs to be expanded and not have lands 'traded' or existing Greenbelt land built on. This land was meant to be protected in perpetuity and no one government has the right to decimate it.
Has the Ford government taken into account the aging population in Ontario that will naturally add housing to the market over the next 20+ years as our aging population moves out of their homes for various reasons ( incl. Downsizing, entering retirement/nursing homes and due to death)?
Protect our natural environment and precious farmland for future generations.
Do NOT allow development in the Greenbelt.
