Those greenbelt was enacted with the purpose of the conservation of wetlands, forest, grasslands, etc to save precious species and to not allow land development.

We also need to take into sharp consideration the voices of the Indigenous [first] Peoples that land, and their opinions and needs.

Furthermore, we MUST also consider the voices of the other residents within the area and the voices of municipalities within certain distances from this area.

What the Ford government is proposing, is exactly opposite of their campaign promise to "not touch or move the boundaries of the Greenbelt".

Either he, and his government lied or provided misinformation to confuse the masses.
