This plan is heartbreaking for places with significant green belt designated land like Niagara. Our landscape is one of a kind and ensures many unique species of plants, birds and wildlife can exist in peace. A plan to develop houses on these designated lands is not to enable affordable housing, it is a plan born from greed and a desire for more wealth by large housing development companies. Doug Ford and Staff, as elected officials you have a responsible to ensure that your mandates are supported by the public and are in the best interests of the public. I believe the only "public" you have consulted with our huge development companies who support your conservative party. Start showing yourselves as party who has dignity, respect and understanding and stop showing yourselves to be uneducated, uninformed, petty and greed hungry.
