There have already been too many changes whereby protected green spaces have been re-designated as "lands for development". The protection was meant to care for flora and fauna, retain spaces for people to relax in nature, maintain proper watershed operation and promote a healthier climate. While we may need more affordable housing, there are plenty of spaces available within urban areas that can be developed/modified to provide more dense population. We have been losing too much agricultural land over the years as cities/towns have expanded. Now is the time to stop, retain that land and build up for the future of everyone.
