I do not support removing any lands from the Greenbelt. I have heard from urban planners time and time again that the lack of land is not the problem - there are still greenfield areas outside of the greenbelt that can be developed. Opening the green belt does not solve supply chain issues, or labour shortages. Further, some of the lands slated to be added to the Greenbelt, area already protected in one way or another, so it remains a net loss for conserved areas. Do not pass this bill if you want to have a countryside for your grandchildren to enjoy.
