This seems like a bad idea just based on the distance alone and the fact that already have land closer inland in order to start development. Instead of sprawl we need to be building up and address the density with housing more affordable but that's really just an iceberg comment since there's so many other problems going on where people can't even afford housing in the first place. Not only are we not paying people enough we're shutting down their attempts to even gain more through their unions which is already a terrible look and now we're trying to build houses so far out that commutes will be horrid given the state of transportation?
