I disagree with the proposal. Wetlands are a valuable resource for Ontario. In addition to the myriad of benefits that wetlands provide for Ontario's plant and animal species, they also protect against flooding. With the advent of extreme weather brought on by climate change, it would be wise to create additional wetlands withing Ontario to protect us from flooding.
