I strongly oppose the proposed change: Site Plan – Exemption for Development up to 10 units, Architectural Details and Landscape Design and the removal of a municipalities ability to regulate architectural details and landscape designs.
There are many standards, including the Toronto Green Standard, that ensures developments incorporate healthy communities while lessening, to the extent possible, impacts on the natural environment. Removing a municipalities ability to regulate architectural details and architectural designs puts wildlife, including birds at risk of window collisions, sustainable development and the health of the community at risk.
I request that this proposed change be omitted.
