Bill 23 is not in the best interest of Ontario.
Municipalities deserve the right to be able to decide their urban boundaries and especially if they have determined they can meet population growth within urban boundaries (ie Hamilton) that should be respected and honoured by the Provincial Government.
Please do not allow this bill to pass, instead work with the municipalities, help create more green efficient developments, give the people a voice at OLT meetings, respect the knowledge snd experience of Conservation Authorities. Please do not develop for development’s sake, instead develop with care for the municipalities and environment. Jobs can be created without destroying the greenbelt, jobs can be created by developing within urban boundaries. Once you destroy the Greenbelt, any part of it, we are not getting it back. Please stop Bill 23 and choose to develop Ontario with the beauty of Ontario and the people of Ontario in mind.
