As a lifelong resident of the Paris Galt Moraine and an advocate for the conservation of our beautiful land, this proposed amendment to the Plan is a sad attempt for our Premier to further pad his pockets and support his buddies behind the excavators. These lands are protected for a reason, and having seen the changes to our watershed over the years as riparian lands are paved and developed, I am concerned that removing these protections and the valuable services they provide would further harm the watershed and it's inhabitants. Please do not remove green space, but enhance it. Please do not cut down our CAs, but empower them. Please do not support sprawl, but encourage sustainable growth. This amendment is not the solution to the housing problem and it surely will cost the taxpayers in the long run as our environmental services are removed to inflate Doug's ego and bank account. To be clear, I do not support the proposed amendments to the Plan nor the development friendly agenda of the Premier's office.
