People need access to transit, services and infrastructure- expansion into the designated greenbelt to build housing puts people further away from these critical resources. It’s important to my family that Ontario maintain a large environmental protected area in order to support diverse ecology, and provide respite in nature.

There are many ways we can support housing that doesn’t require lateral growth from municipalities. I urge the Conservative government to reconsider their approach and instead push municipalities and developers to create higher density housing and for the government to invest transit (like full service Go, expanded UP routes) to connect our province.
