Isn't this against the law? This isn't a joke anymore. This will permanently change Toronto, Ontario and what Canada stands for. Toronto, specifically, is a mess and it's going to implode on itself eventually. The mental health and state of the city is not good. Things feel fine now, but the GTA is lacking life. It's feeling less and less like a place to call home and that adds up. This has been taking a toll on residence. I don't know how else to explain this, and I pray this isn't a waste of time, but it sucks feeling helpless when all you want is the best for everyone. Including the few who are making these really stupid decisions. We've already got so much, so let's just work with that and chill. We all know this is a money thing and has nothing to do with the betterment of people's health. Eventually you'll have all the money in the world, but no where to enjoy it. And even if it's not.. nature is dieing and now we're directly attacking it. Take a trip any where, and tell me how nature is doing. Go swimming and tell me if you find any plastic. You'll be surprised. Stop stripping yourself and the rest of the world of it's humanity. You'll never hear good music, watch a good movie, observe beautiful art, or have loving intimacy again if we lose it. Nature is all the people have left to heal from the wounds caused by the industrialization of our lives. At least let us have that if you're going to make our lives and contributions so taxing. We went from only needing oxygen, water and food to survive to whatever it is we're doing now. Wake up, take a deep breath.. and smell whatever flowers are still left <3
