Under no circumstances must the dangerous precedent of a Greenbelt land swap occur. Two pieces of land are never identical in every respect and even an attempt to compare will fail to capture all the differences. It is important that ALL Greenbelt properties be preserved. New properties may be added, but never, ever taken away. Ontarians are passionate about the Greenbelt and housing unaffordability must not be used as an excuse to develop the Greenbelt. There are plenty of other options to resolve housing issues in this province.
