I am very unhappy that such a huge change with little or no public input, or municipal government input. The long term problems BIll 23 will create are staggering . Wet lands that protect us from flooding , protect our water sources are just a few of the reasons. Loss of productive farmland that can never be replaced is worrisome. Proper studies , and process have not been followed in creating Bill 23 which will lead to massive increases in property tax. There is so much wrong in this bill that needs to be sorted out before passing . This is a document that ignores all the previous research that went into the original Greenbelt initiative. Please do not allow this government to decimate our Greenbelt legacy to benefit and destroy the future of this provinces supply of clean water, forests , and farm land.
