The erosion of the green belt is an irresponsible step in the wrong direction. There is plenty of space for urban and housing development within Ontario cities and Residential Zoned areas to meet the current housing crisis if only housing development firms would take the time to develop these areas instead of using this crisis as an opportunity to erode a necessarily protected area and disrupt a fragile ecosystem.
