This plan is incredibly short sighted and will not provide affordable housing for the folks that need it and will jeopardize the biodiversity of the GTHA. The government is redesignating lands that were protected for a reason in order to benefit their developer friends. I’m hopeful that the government will consider a plan that requires infill development, adus as of right and connections to transit and necessities. I’ll not be voting for the conservatives in the next election if this plan proceeds as proposed.
