It seems obvious that with the increase in flooding and all the other disastrous weather events , we ,the government of the day and the people of Ontario must protect the wetlands , lowlands , forests and maintain our green spaces , not threaten the greenbelt . It will cost more ,not less in sheer dollars and much more in damage to our environment . It will not build housing more frugally or quickly . And will it make a few wealthy donors to the current government even more wealthy from their recent new parcels of land ?
