6.1: My only concern is that if the ministry works with industry associations for knowledge maintenance requirements, it could provide a path to requiring membership in a particular association. This could present a barrier to some, as each association has its own requirements for membership that do not necessarily correlate to ones knowledge of the Building Code, as well as fees that are separate from BCIN registration.
