Given the recent alarm bells…

Given the recent alarm bells being sounded by scientists all over the world, cancelling the cap & trade program is extremely short sighted. Of course it is not the unicorn solution to climate change, but it is one of many mitigation tools. We need to adapt and evolve, not regress and stick our heads in the sand. Change has to happen NOW, otherwise we will see the effects in as little as 11 years. If that's not enough convincing, perhaps a financial reason might be influential. Spending money to cancel a revenue generating tool makes zero sense, given that the government allegedly was elected with a promise of fiscal responsibility.
