I believe the present Cap and Trade program was benefiting companies, adding to the work force, improving our schools and helping homeowners improve their homes by improving windows, doors, new energy efficient furnaces. It also allowed consumers to look at purchasing electric vehicles. All these where to improve the environment by putting a tax on the heaviest polluters. There is no valid reason to scrap the present act.
