I have reviewed the McKinley report that Tomlinson presented as part of the ARA criteria submission. McKinley focused on the natural environment. They have not acknowledged the presence of the threatened subspecies of the Western Chorus Frog. COSEWIC states the species is split in two subspecies with the Great Lakes/St Lawrence/Canadian Shield species identified as threatened. The report should address the presence of this frog as it is known locally to occur within 30metres of the subject site (photo evidence).
