I have reviewed the McKinley report that Tomlinson presented as part of the ARA criteria submission. McKinley focused on the natural environment. They have not acknowledged the presence of the threatened subspecies of the Western Chorus Frog. Read more

1) Our household is completely against the R.W Tomlinson pit, or ANY other pit for the removal of aggregate. The promise that it will not affect residents around the area IS NOT ENOUGH. Read more

I am concerned about how this will affect the animals in the area. I walk Storyland Rd almost everyday and hear the frogs singing and see the beaver and otters. Excavating to this depth will change the water levels in the wet lands and lakes in both the proposed pit land and adjoining area. Read more
