One: I find it hard to believe that the change in ground water would not effect a greater area than the 33 meters indicated in the hydrology report. Also, the report implied that the source of water for the bedrock wells in the area is the ground water in the study area but made no recommendations in that regard.
Two: Property values in the area will go down as a result of the pit being nearby. Not only because of its proximity but potential noise from the operation of heavy equipment.
