Recommend refinements to 1320-HC-22-OPA-Phase 2.

Recommend removing unevaluated wetlands from Significant NEA Features, and Supporting NEA Features.

Recommend removing plantations from mapping of Significant Natural Environment Area Features (Schedule A-8) and including exception to the significant woodland criteria such that a plantation established and continuously managed for the sole purpose of complete removal at rotation, as demonstrated with documentation acceptable to the planning authority or NDMNRF, without a forest restoration objective” would be an exception to the significant woodland criteria. This would include Plantations planted under the Woodlot Improvement Act (WIA) or managed as part of the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program. These plantations should not be mapped as part of the natural heritage system.
