The Parry Sound Area Food…

The Parry Sound Area Food Collaborative is a community-led group that collaborates with local partners to foster a sustainable community food system with equal access to nutritious, safe food. We cannot achieve this vision without healthy ecosystems. To protect the integrity of our ecosystems, which we depend on for food, Ontario must address climate change.

Especially in light of the recently released IPCC report and the threat of our current climate trajectory on food and water security, we would like to see Ontario:
-end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions
-set legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement

We do not support Bill 4 as it eliminates the only climate policy Ontario has.
