Energy conservation efforts are many decades overdue. So are green energy efforts. Now it is time for carbon sequestration on a large scale. We need progressive legislation in this regard, such as tying sequestration efforts to new development projects. Cap and trade doesn’t go nearly far enough. The big polluters need to pay.
