Keep Waterford a small town, that’s why we moved here 10 years ago. I understand why the silos were torn down because they were unsafe. But those houses going in there are designed for a big city, not our town. There are 2 other lots cleared for housing on McNicoll street also. now they’re full of weeds and it’s eroding. Now developers want to take away farm land to put in houses. Farmers feed cities! Plain and simple. Our town has 2 street lights, it’s hard now trying to get down Main Street & Thompson Rd. Developers said they did a traffic analysis, were they done by people who couldn’t see. Stop taking our land and turning into useless developments that will look like garbage in less than 5 yrs. Re-evaluate housing and build less affordable homes that are nice to look at, stop taking our farm land away.
If this keeps up, we’ll be moving.
