I disagree with the proposal…

I disagree with the proposal to expand municipal boundaries to accommodate the proposed development. The site proposed for this large development endangers protected water sources and farmland. This is not necessary, and flies in the face of reports from council advisors. More suitable development sites can be found within the existing boundaries. I suspect this is a cost issue and is short sighted. Long term costs will surely outweigh short term gains. Good planning is not a single issue decision. I recommend reconsideration and require full transparency.
