Well, you have shown your inept ignorance once again. You have mishandled the moose file, the bear file, the timberwolf file and now you are going after the bait industry. To show your ignorance on this you scheduled these stake holder meetings during our busiest time of the year. I just took my day off and travelled to Kenora to listen to the proposed changes. While some such as holding anglers more accountable on harvesting bait are good, most of these changes lack any scientific research. The provincial parks guy Adam is a typical parks guy that thinks any consumptive use of "his" parks should not be allowed. I oppose any more restrictions in these parks that we already have. I am "blessed" to have a trappers cabin in one such park, being there long before the park was formed, and it has been a curse. As to the zones , I am sure you heard loud and clear in Kenora to keep your city out of our country and how it will effect livelihoods of a lot of people. The bait industry didn't go to Europe and bring the spiny water flea or the zebra mussle here.....go set up your check station on the great lakes and leave us alone. You all sit in Peterborough in your ivory tower coming up with these make work projects that are going to do nothing at all to prevent invasive species from coming into the country.
The ONLY portion of this that I would support is making Anglers more accountable . All else I am opposed to
