Please, please, please help…

Please, please, please help us be healers. We have waited far too long and done far too little to clean up a mess of our own making. I fear for my grandchildren. Some folks talk about looking 7 generation in the past and 7 generations in the future. We don't need to look that far in the future to see some bad things coming. A quote I discovered - " Something to think about : The earth is 4.6 billion years old. Lets scale that to 46 years. We have been here for 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago. In that time we have destroyed more than 50% of the worlds forests. this isn't sustainable. " A saying that I learned from my grandma "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." One that I learned from my folks "privilege and responsibility go hand in hand" . To me we seem to be good at taking the privilege but not so good at acting responsibility. I sure wish we learn to act with more responsibility. We can do some really good things together. Thank you for letting me talk to you.
