I want Ontario to re-instate…

I want Ontario to re-instate the Cap and Trade program that was previously set in place to combat climate change. I strongly believe Ontario needs to be taxing activities that emit carbon to reduce our emissions, meanwhile supporting sustainable energy solutions, which is what the Cap and Trade program was accomplishing. I want to see Ontario leading the way for Canada in our fight against climate change, not dragging its heels as it continues to heavily subsidize fossil fuels. I want a government that acknowledges that climate change is a serious matter, a government that acts with urgency to end fossil fuel subsidies (redirecting money to renewable energy and a clean economy) and a government that has an effective, extensive and immediate plan to reduce carbon emissions in line with targets outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement! Finally, I want a government that aims to stand out on the world stage for doing these things!
