Climate change is real, and this was insentive for large organizations to become more accountable for pollution.
70% of all pollution is caused by 100 companies world wide. Cap and trade is a check and balance.
While I don’t believe in canceling it, if it has been decided to move away from cap and trade there needs to be a back up plan in place to replace it which can influence organizations to be accountable from a environmental perspective.
