As long as the Ontario Government is maintaining some type of pressure on light vehicle manufacturers to keep standards high, then I suppose this sounds fine. But do not let Ontario become an easy jurisdiction for fraudulent producers (like in the Volkswagen situation) to offload vehicles that do not meet our emissions standards.
