Older model gas powered farm grain trucks should be exempt as they are only used for a few weeks a year and most of them have to be leaned out to a point they will barely run to achieve a pass then adjusted back to actually be able to use to haul loads short distances. Most farmers have given up in frustration which is a shame as these older trucks are usually low mileage trucks and get condemned just because they can not run properly with the level appointed to them. These are not used every day and are owned by smaller farms that have a tough enough time surviving now and newer diesel trucks aren’t affordable for their operations. These trucks could be identified by the amount of kms recorded at licence sticker renewal time and e test mileage recorded . Thx
