I support extending the moratorium on water bottling permits in Ontario. Water bottling is a wasteful procedure. More water and energy are used in producing and recycling the bottles to contain water and transporting them to retail outlets. The same water is available to most citizens of Ontario by turning on the tap.

Given the increased temperatures and periods of drought we are experiencing in a changing climate, conserving and protecting water is a responsibility of government.
