1) Further details on the proposed chemical oxidation product to be applied is requested, in addition to further information pertaining to the proposed application of the colloidal activated carbon (AC). The application of these chemicals and carbon media may have a direct affect on the effectiveness of remediation of affected downgradient properties.

2) Further details on the use of an injected permeable barrier at the site boundaries is requested. The installation of a carbon media based permeable barrier may have a direct affect on the effectiveness of remediation of affected downgradient properties.

3) Details on the sequencing of the remedial activities (e.g., pilot scale programs, full scale treatment) is requested as the application of the proposed ISCO and AC may have a direct affect on the effectiveness of remediation of affected downgradient properties.

4) Confirmation if the remedial program includes provisions for a long-term soil vapour monitoring program to monitor potential vapour migration risks to off-site receptors.

5) Confirmation if the remedial program includes provisions for a long-term groundwater monitoring program to monitor groundwater conditions on adjacent and affected downgradient properties.

6) Confirmation that the remedial plan accounts for a contingency plan for additional treatment and/or monitoring in the event on-site and off-site groundwater and soil vapour monitoring conducted post remediation indicate increased concentrations for one or more of the contaminants of concern analysed.
