I am deeply concerned by the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at the Ontario Place site. The proposal goes against decades of work by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. As a resident of Parkdale and frequent user of the nearby waterfront I am really upset by this step backwards. We need a safe, swimmable waterfront.
