This proposal is an illogical and ill-thought initiative that will further affect our environment and water quality as a result of the Therme project. After already demolishing natural habitats illegally, impacting the local ecosystems, now this development is choosing to knowingly and proactively destroy our aquatic systems. At what point do we stop the profit of international greed to protect our lakeshore for the future generations of Ontarians and those who will visit. A spa that illegally destroys our environment and our lakes should not be one. The remediation efforts of Lake Ontario are well known and we do not need to back track on the work we have done. Putting freshwater systems at risk for greed should not be tolerated or supported by our government.
